Bit of Excitement

May 26, 2010 at 6:13 am (Death's Daughter) (, , , , , , , )

I posted this on Twitter when it happened but here I am sharing it on my blog.

Death’s Daughter made the top ten – BooksOnBoard announces this week’s bestselling eBooks and authors.

This was the list as released on May 19:

1. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – Stieg Larsson
2. The Secret of Excalibur – Andy McDermott
3. I am Nujood, Aged 10 and Divorced – Nujood Ali
4. Indemnity Only – Sara Paretsky
5. The Covenant of Genesis – Andy McDermott
6. The Summons – John Grisham
7. The Final Detail – Harlan Coben
8. Death’s Daughter – Cassandra Jade
9. The Killing Edge – Heather Graham
10. The Bone Conjurer – Alex Archer

I wonder if people who have published multiple books still feel the need to jump up and down with joy?

You can not imagine how happy I am for you. Well done!! My God, observe the close proximity of John Grisham and Harlan Coben. You are standing side by side with the God’s of Successful Books.
You absolutely have to acknowledge your success and really celebrate.
Please let us know what you’re planning to do celebrate such an amazing milestone.
See if you can knock Stieg off his perch. Go on! He’s had a good run.
I’m doing the happy dance for you!!
    🙂

Yay! I’m guilty of not buying it yet, so maybe when I do I’ll push you up the chart! 😀 Mid-June, promised. Is this a list of your publisher only or all e-books?
Congrats for the great job and keep writing! 😀

List is from the Books on Board store. They sent me an email to let me know I was on the list. That was something different in the inbox.

Thanks for your post on my new blog. It was very encouraging especially when I’ve only recently ventured out as a writer! Congratulations on your rating. Perhaps you could write something about how you got so far? I would definitely be interested in learning more about e-book publishing and your adventure!

I think if someone stops jumping for joy when their writing starts to be regularly appreciated then perhaps they should stop writing! Jump away!

I’m new to this and am having a few technical issues! I believe they are all sorted now. Please disregard any previous comments! I can’t see whether or not they made it up! What I wanted to say was…

That’s great! Did you say it was in the iBookstore? Or soon?

    • Cassandra Jade said,

I don’t think it is in the iBookstore – I know that there is a kindle version and about six other electronic versions but I don’t think it has made it there.

Thanks everyone for the support. Admittedly as of yesterday I disappeared off the list again but I never expected to be on it in the first place.
At least I know someone other than my parents actually bought a copy.
